This workshop weaves together Mindfulness (CASEL competencies) - Movement (yoga-like, I have my 200 RYT)) and the Mathematical practice standards. The good news is  Mathematical Practice Standards overlap with ELL, Science, and the History and Social Studies practices - everyone can get something out of this!  My focus, depending on sign-ups, will lean into the grade 5 -10 world, however, I ran the workshop before for preK - 12 so all faculty and definitely all yoga experience levels are welcome!

LOCATION:  Coolidge Corner School, Brookline MA DATE: TBD    TIME:  8:30 AM - 12:30 PM . Prompt start. Be on your mat at 8:30!

WORKSHOP: (approx):

• 60 - minute yoga practice

• 90-ish minute - unpacking CASEL competencies with SMP and creating a thread between the three experiences Mindful Movement SEL and SMP

• 60+ minute collaboration (leave with something you can use!)

• 15-20 minute wrap up I'll call the "workshop- savansa"
